Zaq Morgan
Founder and
Chief Executive Officer

Zaq has worked in and around the renewable energy industry for much of his professional career.  Formerly a commercial real estate, zoning, and finance attorney with McGuireWoods, LLP, Zaq provided legal advice to developers and lenders working on utility-scale solar, wind, and landfill gas projects throughout the continental United States.  Zaq also provided legal counsel to utilities partnering to develop the Atlantic Coast Pipeline to deliver natural gas between West Virginia and the Carolinas and other substantial infrastructure projects up and down the Eastern seaboard of the United States.  Zaq transitioned in-house with Entropy Investment Management, LLC, a renewable energy asset management and development company, where he served as Real Estate Counsel and serves as General Counsel for the utility-scale solar and biogas portfolios throughout North and South America and the Caribbean.  While at Entropy, in addition to managing the utility-scale solar portfolio, Zaq has spent a significant portion of his time working to finalize the construction and development of two utility-scale anaerobic digestion biogas projects in North Carolina and Rhode Island and overseeing the ramp-up of operations at each of the sites.
